Afro Celt Sound SystemYet another nifty release from Peter Gabriel's Real World label, the Afro Celt Sound System folks take all manner of Celtic instruments and African rhythms, and set it to electronic beats. Quite pleasant arrangements that span the distance between fast, driving dance-y numbers and mellow trance-y pieces. Their "Volume 3: Further in Time" features duets with Mr. Gabriel and with one Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin fame. Until I hear such a thing, I am a bit skeptical. Links of note:
