B-Side Players

Fancy, funky Latin jazz, complete with all the usual suspects - congas, trumpet, sax, timbales... In fact, your soul will be consumed by the maddening beat of the conga drum, which come to think of it is actually not such a bad thing. It seems like the Afro Cuban All-Stars, Buena Vista Social Club, and their side projects are everywhere you look these days, and don't get me wrong, they're wonderful. But for Latin jazz with a dash of funk, the B-Side Players are just a heck of a lot more fun largely because for the time being you can see them in smaller clubs.
