Dianogah

OK, so by now, I'm sure you have figured out that I have this strange soft spot for instrumental bands from Chicago. And these guys are on the list. Crisp rhythms, rolling noodling of twin basses - not something you can sing along to, but musically I think they're pretty interesting. Check out their website - they've done a really nice job with the graphics. But perhaps the best thing is their "band name exchange" section, which lays me out on the floor laughing every time I read it. "My eyes! My eyes! The goggles do nothing!", "Dolly Llamas", "Nuns weed-eating the Vatican", "My Lemonade is without Lemon", and of course " The 'I've lost all tolerable interest in lincoln logs' band".
