Folk Implosion

When he's not busy rockin' the forest with the er, rockin' band Sebadoh, or putting out mostly solo stuff with his mostly solo entity Sentridoh, underappreciated (in my opinion) songwriter Lou Barlow teams up with drummer John Davis to create wonderfully poppy tunes under the moniker Folk Implosion. Quite frankly, I can't figure out why their last album 'One Part Lullabye' wasn't more widely played, given how catchy almost every song was. Oh well. In the past, when there was a "Folk Implosion" show, it was most often an acoustic showcase for Barlow to play a collection of songs from all of his projects, but the latest incarnation of the Folk Implosion (or at least the live version) is more of a rock band, including such elements as Russ Pollard, Sebadoh's drummer, and another fellow. Apparently, John Davis is no longer in The Folk Implosion, so this is all getting a bit confusing.
