FreakwaterThe sweet, sweet harmonizing of Catherine Ann Irwin and Janet Beveridge Bean make me think of kicking back on an old country porch somewhere in Kentucky. Musically, Freakwater bridge the gap between bluegrass and country, between banjo picking and electric guitar, with a tasty quantity of fiddle thrown in for good measure.
