Lucinda Williams

Darn fine countrified rock that you can chill to or bop a bit to - it's your choice. And she's written a nice song about Lake Charles, Louisiana without using the word "refinery" - actually, with or without the word 'refinery', it's just nice to hear people write songs about Lake Charles. Unclear whether these shows will in fact be more rocking, like 'Car Wheels on a Gravel Road', or more reflective and acoustic like her subsequent album 'Essence'.
