Mike ClarkIf you have a deep knowledge of jazz, you probably already know that Mike Clark played drums with Herbie Hancock on 'Thrust', the album that followed the groundbreaking jazz / funk amalgamation that is 'Headhunters'. I had never heard of Clark before, actually - I found out about this tour because he was joined on the road by two other folks I'm more familiar with - keyboardist Robert Walter (of Robert Walter's 20th Congress fame) and sax assassin Skerik (most notably saxophonist for the crazed jazz / rock group Critters Buggin). He frequently tours with other folks like Charlie Hunter on guitar, DJ Logic on turntable, and Fred Wesley on trombone.
