Sasha & Digweed

Some years ago, DJ John Digweed worked as a gardener for a while, saving up money for his first set of turntables. Too bad for you - all of these shows will in fact not be DJ dates, they will in fact be the John Digweed Electro-Millenial Gardening Extravaganza 2000: Revenge of the Leeks. Just kidding. Actually, after he hooked up with his turntables, Digweed met fellow DJ Sasha, and they've since toured the world spinning their unique melange of trance tunes. Yes, trance is yet another one of the never-ending cavalcade of electronica genres - think about the alternating bass drum / cymbal beat of Led Zeppelin's 'Bron-Y-Aur Stomp' (on Led Zeppelin III), but sped up quite a bit, and with tons of heavily repetitive, swooping electronic bloopy-bloopy noises. Usually no lyrics. Be forewarned - these shows are slated to run from 9pm-5am, and if being surrounded by a bunch of teenagers strung out on Ecstasy sounds disturbing, I might choose another alternative for the evening. I recommend a PB&J, and my vote would be for chunky, not creamy.
