Toasters

I have to admit, I've kind of lost touch with the Toasters...but back in the day, they were one of the finest ska bands around. For those not in the know, ska is a genre of music which is essentially fast, happy reggae with lots of trumpet, trombone, sometimes sax. Kind of a simplified description, but that will get you in the ballpark. The last album of theirs that I liked was 'Dub 56' (1994), which has a wonderful cover of Dizzy Gillespie's 'Tunisia' on it. Unfortunately, following that album, they lost their Jamaican (?) co-lead vocalist Coolie Ranx, and I kind of thought they went downhill. Anyhow, they're apparently back on the tour circuit...
