Tricky

The master of spooky, creepy trip hop is loose once again on tour. Tricky, originally a member of pioneering trip hop group Massive Attack, split early on to pursue his solo career, starting with the brilliant 'Maxinquaye'. Interesting, eclectic sounds, with hip hoppy rhythms. Did I mention he's kind of creepy? But occasionally silly at the same time - I just keep hearing the lyrics: "Now they call me tricky kid / I live a life they wish they did / now they want to be naked and famous." Don't we all.
