TV on the RadioI cannot get over the genius that is TV on the Radio's five song EP, a unique blend of deeply soulful vocals and sharp, coldly electro beats and twitters, and droning guitar. This is not the smooth nu-soul popularized by many a European DJ - this is the dirty grit of the Brooklyn underground. It takes guts to do a barbershop quartet version of a Pixies song, and extraordinary skills to pull it off the way they did. Links of note:
