Wayne Toups got his start wayyyy back in the early 80s playing predominantly straight Cajun music (think accordion, washboard, fiddle, guitar, drums) sung almost entirely in Cajun French. As he developed, though, he began melding other musical genres into his songs - mostly rock, and a bit of soul. Anyhow, he and his band Zydecajun have toured 20 different countries and 4 continents - nice to be able to catch him in some smaller clubs back home in the US. So here's a little predicament. My Wayne Toups CD should be sitting next to my Donald Thibodeaux CD (also known as the "Cajun section" of my music collection - doesn't everyone have one?). However, it appears to be missing - if I happen to have lent it to somebody out there, please let me know.
