the Corn Sisters

Currently, the sole record of the existence of The Corn Sisters is a live album, from Hattie's Hat Restaurant in Seattle in May of 1998. Together, the sisters belt out some classic twangy tunes performed previously by none other than Loretta Lynn, Lucinda Williams, and Johnny Cash. As well as a few songs by Carolyn Mark (whom you may know from the band Carolyn Mark and her Roommates) and a song by Neko Case (whom you may know from the band Neko Case and her Boyfriends), which is funny because Neko and Carolyn are the Corn Sisters. It's almost like they planned it that way.
