Rainer Truby

There is quite a movement afoot in the electronic music scene in Europe these days, in the area of jazzified downtempo electronica. Austrian DJs Kruder and Dorfmeister are probably best-known for their 2CD remix album called K&D Sessions. One of the songs they remixed was by the Rainer Truby Trio - perhaps lesser-known on this side of the pond, but quite talented in their own right. Mr. Truby (away from the trio) does a lot of solo DJ shows, in which he reveals a staggeringly broad knowledge of obscure jazz and electronic tunes, blending various eclectic tracks together.
